Toddler Twins Daily Schedule (21 Months)

So we’ve somehow been lucky enough to have twin girls with decently healthy sleeping habits. One of my girls went through a regression around 6-8 months but has slept 12 hours straight ever since. I have to keep us on a rigid schedule throughout the day just for my own sanity, but also to make sure that they get a great night’s sleep every day. I figured I’d share how we get through the day at this current stage. I’m a stay at home mom and work as an ESL teacher from about 5-7:30am every morning and 9-10:30pm every night. So I really rely on things being scheduled out. Here’s how our day looks currently:

Babies Schedule 21 Months

8am – Babies Wake, Change Diapers, Get Dressed, 5-6oz of Organic Whole Milk.

9am – Breakfast: Scrambled Eggs, Banana, Oatmeal and Water.

10am – Morning Activity (Coloring; Play Clay; Rotating Toy; Outside time.)

11am – Morning Outing (Storytime at the Library; Gymnastics; Playdates.)

12pm – Lunch: Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich, Organic Yogurt and Water.

12:30pm – Clean Up All Toys, Change Diapers.

1pm-3:30pm – Nap!

3:30pm – Wake from nap, Change Diaper, 4oz Juice or Herbal Tea and Snack.

5pm – Check Diapers

5:45pm – Dinner: (Rotating Menu of Protein, Carb, Veg, Fruit & Water.)

6:30pm – Clean Up All Toys

7pm – Change Diapers, Change into Pajamas, Any Medicine is given.

7:15pm – 5-6oz of Organic Whole Milk, Brush Teeth.

7:30pm – Read Books and Cuddle. (No Television, Lights are Dimmed.)

7:55pm – Bedtime Transition – Saying Goodnight to Toys and Family, Put Into Cribs and Briefly Rub Backs.

8pm – Sleep!

If you’re a toddler mom, you know how fast things can change and this is just our current routine. I’m so happy to have the girls down to one nap so that we could have more time to go out and do more. Of course being sick has really slowed us down the past two months. I’d love to hear how you plan your day and if you plan any activities that you rotate for your little ones!
