This year I decided to delve into some porch/front door decorating. We didn’t have time to carve pumpkins this year so they lived a long shelf life on the porch and survived through Thanksgiving. Leaving the real pumpkins and the fake pumpkins (from the dollar section of Target), I layered two mats (both found on amazon, linked below). Then I created a floral corner with mums and a bouquet I arranged with several fall-colored flowers from the floral department at Kroger. I finished things off with a metal turkey welcome sign (also linked below). The babies really enjoyed looking at everything and pointing to the “pum-pums” (pumpkins) outside. I was inspired to do the mat layering from an amazon review for the buffalo plaid mat.
I’m currently working on our Christmas front door decorations and I’ve left the buffalo plaid mat to layer a Christmas mat on as well.
